 Dear [Senator],

I am writing to express my deep opposition to any military intervention in Mexico. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s reckless and inflammatory statements on Fox & Friends regarding potential military action against the cartels are deeply concerning and must be unequivocally condemned.

Military confrontation with Mexico would be an unprecedented and disastrous move that would:

1. Destabilize the Region – Any U.S. military action would likely lead to increased violence, economic instability, and a worsening humanitarian crisis at our southern border.

2.  Endanger U.S. Troops and Citizens – A military conflict with Mexico would put American service members in unnecessary danger and could lead to retaliatory violence against Americans both at home and abroad.

3.  Strain Diplomatic Relations – Mexico is one of our largest trading partners and a critical ally in addressing migration, drug trafficking, and regional security. Military aggression would destroy decades of diplomatic efforts and cooperation.

This is not just empty rhetoric—given the extremism we have seen from the Trump administration in recent weeks, there is a genuine risk that this administration could follow through on such an irresponsible and illegal action. Congress must act immediately to prevent any military engagement in Mexico and reaffirm that diplomacy, not war, is the solution to international security challenges.

I urge you to:
 • Publicly denounce any suggestion of military intervention in Mexico.
 • Support legislation prohibiting unauthorized military action in Mexico or any other sovereign nation without explicit congressional approval.
 • Demand oversight hearings on Hegseth’s comments and the administration’s military posture toward Mexico.

The American people do not want another reckless war—especially one with a neighboring ally. Please use your position to prevent this dangerous escalation before it’s too late.

Sincerely,

Subject: Urgent: Oppose Trump-Musk Attacks on Democracy and Rule of Law

Dear [Congressman],

I am writing to express my grave concern over the unprecedented attacks on our democratic institutions, the rule of law, and our nation’s stability under President Donald Trump and his ally, Elon Musk. The recent actions of this administration are not only unconstitutional but threaten the very fabric of our democracy and our standing on the world stage.

The mass purging of FBI officials and federal prosecutors who investigated the January 6th insurrection is a blatant attempt to dismantle the rule of law and shield Trump and his allies from legal accountability. These politically motivated firings are an attack on the independence of our justice system and set a dangerous precedent for authoritarian rule.

Additionally, the Trump administration’s illegal freeze on federal funding, the gutting of USAID, and the appointment of Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to oversee drastic budget cuts all point to a coordinated effort to weaken our government from within. Musk’s increasing control over key federal operations, including U.S. payment systems, presents a dire national security risk, particularly given his financial ties to China and Russia.

Trump’s Project 2025 agenda, inspired by the authoritarian rule of Viktor Orbán, further seeks to strip rights from women, immigrants, LGBTQ+ individuals, and racial minorities while imposing religious laws that contradict our nation’s foundational principles. His administration’s sweeping immigration crackdowns, cruel executive orders targeting transgender Americans, and unconstitutional attempts to end birthright citizenship are direct violations of human rights and democratic values.

This administration is operating outside the constitutional order, and Congress must act immediately to halt its dangerous trajectory. I urge you to:
1. Demand immediate oversight hearings on the unlawful purges of FBI officials, prosecutors, and inspectors general.
2. Introduce and support legislation to protect career civil servants and law enforcement officials from political retaliation.
3. Block further appointments of individuals who refuse to pledge adherence to the law, especially those overseeing the Department of Justice, intelligence agencies, and federal funding.
4. Investigate Musk’s role in dismantling federal programs, his access to government financial systems, and his ties to foreign adversaries.
5. Resist efforts to undermine civil rights, democratic norms, and the constitutional balance of power through legislative and judicial action.

The American people did not vote for authoritarian rule, the destruction of our institutions, or the reckless enrichment of billionaires at the expense of our democracy. The time to act is now.

I urge you to stand on the right side of history and protect the United States from these unprecedented attacks.

Sincerely,

Subject: Urgent Concern Regarding the Dismissal of January 6th Prosecutors

Dear [Congressman’s Name],

I am writing to express my deep concern over the recent actions taken by the Department of Justice, which has dismissed numerous prosecutors involved in the January 6th investigations and is reportedly seeking to remove FBI agents connected to these cases. These actions appear to be part of a broader effort to purge personnel perceived as disloyal to President Trump.

Such measures not only undermine the independence of our federal law enforcement agencies but also set a dangerous precedent that could erode public trust in our justice system. The FBI Agents Association has criticized these moves as detrimental to the agency’s ability to safeguard national security.

I urge you to take a stand against these actions by:
1. Publicly condemning the dismissal of prosecutors and the potential removal of FBI agents involved in the January 6th investigations.
2. Supporting or introducing legislation that protects the independence of federal law enforcement agencies from political interference.
3. Advocating for thorough oversight hearings to investigate the motivations and implications of these dismissals.

It is imperative that our justice system remains free from political influence to uphold the principles of democracy and the rule of law. I trust that you will act in the best interest of our nation and work to prevent any further erosion of judicial independence.

Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.

Sincerely,

Subject: Concern Over Misinformation Regarding Recent Aviation Tragedy

Dear [Congressman’s Name],

I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent tragic midair collision over Washington, D.C., which resulted in the loss of 67 lives. In the aftermath, President Trump has publicly attributed the cause of this accident to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within aviation sectors.

This narrative not only lacks substantiated evidence but also diverts attention from the critical need for a thorough and unbiased investigation. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and other relevant agencies are equipped to determine the factual causes of such incidents. Prematurely assigning blame, especially without concrete evidence, undermines public trust and can lead to unwarranted divisions.

I urge you to advocate for a fact-based approach in addressing this tragedy. It is imperative that we allow investigative bodies to perform their duties without political interference and that any conclusions drawn are based on empirical evidence. Additionally, promoting unity and support for the affected families should be our primary focus during this time of mourning.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust you will represent our community’s interest in seeking truth and fostering unity.

Sincerely,
